Do my guests need an app or an account?

Accepted Answer

No. They scan the QR code on the table (or open a short link) and upload their photos straight from their phone's browser. Nothing to install, no account to create.

Do the photos lose quality?

No. Photos are uploaded and stored in their original quality, exactly as they come off your guests' phones, with no compression. And when you download them — one by one, or the whole album as a ZIP — you get those exact original files.

Can guests upload videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On top of unlimited photos, your guests can upload videos: clips of up to 90 seconds each, in mp4, mov or webm. They play right inside the album, next to the photos, and you download them in their original quality.

Can we approve photos before anyone sees them?

Yes. You can choose between publishing automatically or approving every photo first. You can also approve, hide or delete photos one by one or in bulk, whenever you like.

Who can see the album?

You decide: album closed, visible only to you, open to anyone with the link, or password protected. You can also set the dates between which photos can be uploaded.

How long are the photos kept?

12 months after the wedding, plus 30 extra days to download them. Before anything is deleted we email you, so you can save everything without rushing.

What if we buy the album months before the wedding?

Accepted Answer

You lose nothing: the 12 months start on your wedding day, not on the day you buy. Buying early only helps — it gives you time to prepare the QR code, add it to your invitations or your table cards, and try the album out well before the big day.

What if we change the wedding date?

Accepted Answer

You can update it from your dashboard any time up to the wedding day, and the album's window is recalculated automatically with the new date. Once the wedding has passed, the date is locked in.

Can we use it if the wedding has already happened?

Yes. If you buy the album after the wedding, you still get a full 12 months from the purchase to gather your guests' photos, with the same 30 extra days to download them.

How do we download the photos?

One photo at a time in original quality, or all of them at once with “Download all”, which builds a ZIP of the whole album in original quality.

How much does it cost, and do I need the Pro plan?

You don't need the Pro plan: the album works just the same with a free YesLovey wedding website. It costs $29 when you add it alongside the Pro plan at checkout, or $39 on its own — from your dashboard later on too, even if your website is already published. Always a one-time payment. Before the wedding day the album runs in test mode with up to 100 photos, so you can try it out at your leisure; from the wedding day on, photo uploads are unlimited.
